I was drawn in completely by the iDon't commercials for the Droid, and though I'm impressed and awed by the device, I won't be buying one - much for the same reason I never bought an iPhone - because I don't need another computer. I especially don't need another handheld computer. Talk about spacey.

The Droid, I think, is geared towards those of us who aren't fooled by Apple. This is another contest of the corporations against the glossy white-and-other-colored devices and systems of the fruit. After stating that, I'll openly admit that I'm not (and will never be) a fan of Apple, or its products. I'm totally biased against them. Still, they're a smart company. The iPhone will stay on top for awhile until Droid is up to par. It's the same way with Nintendo and Sony game systems. Third Generation was introduced too early on Sony's part, and Nintendo didn't have the games. (iPhone has the apps, sure, but Droid seems to have the function.)

I'll observe this battle from an outside point of view, and probably test it when one of my colleagues gets a hand on one.

Also, my day was really shitty. My dad got hung up at work and couldn't go to the movies with me, so I had to take the bus home after 6pm only to find that the driver was a complete ass, and I QUOTH: "It helps if you're at the bus stop."

EXCUSE ME FOR BEING LATE. I'M NOT PROVIDING YOU A SERVICE ANYWAY.

I ignored him when he spoke to me at my dropoff. I don't even care if he was trying to apologize. I just wanted to come home and sleep - which I didn't do anyway. Either that, or I wanted to cry... this is the third time in half a year that I asked any members of my family to join me for a movie and I got shot down. Only my friends seem remotely interested in keeping their promises.

Now, I'll just go back to procrastinating on projects that would do better to get more than four hours' attention.
